Open up the living's sliding doors to catch sea breezes and step out onto the terrace nestled in a shared garden. Ideal for 2, but a foldout sofa in the living allows 4 people (age 12 and above) to sleep in the apartment. The unit is equipped to accommodate people looking for longer stays, but also very suitable for a quick stay.
Pool and garden are shared facilities and your Hosts live upstairs for easy access to support.
This AirBnB is setup with new furniture, new king size bed, new mattress, new bed linen, new couch, etc etc. All purchased in december 2018. The building itself is a 9 year old house with great views on the bay. The garden apartment is now available through AirBnB and is completely self contained with its own entrance and separated from the rest of the house. The apartment has an open plan living with kitchen which has large sliding doors on two sides to catch the sea breezes and opens up into the terrace and shared garden. There is a portable Airco unit for those warm nights (but generally not needed we have seen most of our guest not switch on this noisy unit an enjoy the cool bay breezes or just the ceiling fan in the bedroom). The kitchen has everything you need, including dishwasher and oven. The living has a comfy couch which can be converted to a queen bed and dining table with 4 (or 6 chairs if requested). In the hall to the bed and bathroom and laundry there is a small desk for work on or recharge your appliances. The Bedroom has one King size bed with bed tables and tallboy to store clothes etc and has a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and bathroom cabinet with large sink. The laundry has a washing machine and a large freezer to store your food or ice. We use solar power and rain water for the garden, laundry and toilets.
Your outside area has 2 chairs and a BBQ.
Guests can use the backyard. We just finished building a pool in February, guests are welcome to use it. There is an outdoor shower with warm water.

We are often around and happy to have a chat about the local attractions. We are always up for a bike ride along the Moreton bay cycleway, 1 minute away from our house if you are bringing bikes. If you are into kite surfing join me on windy days, and if you want tips on 4x4 or like Jeeps there is lot to talk about.
Kingsley Terrace is a quiet, family-oriented area. There is a bus stop in front of the house, the train station is a short walk or cycle away. The boathouse is located between Manly Village with its pubs and restaurants (on 5-10 minute walk away) and Wynnum with more restaurants and supermarkets and also a 5 to 10 minute walk! The bay is just down the road, and is the place to go for a relaxing evening walk!
There is a bus stop in front of the house. Train station is 10 minute walk or 5 minute cycle.
Manly Village with pubs and restaurants is only a 5-10 minute walk away and in the other direction a 10 minute walk will bring you to Wynnum with a Coles, Woollies and more pubs, restaurants and shops.
Please note this is a strict non smoking AirBnB, this means also no smoking in the shared garden. The pool is not heated at the moment. So during the winter months it might be a bit cold, we are working on a sustainable heating solution, but haven't found the solution.
We are about 20 minutes away from the airport and 10 minutes from port of Brisbane
