If you're looking for BBQ, this place is the best of the best...They open at 11:00, but if you're not there by 9:30 (even on a weekday) you may not get your choice of meat! Completely worth the wait!

Operating since the 1940's this BBQ joint is an East Austin Landmark. They have a basic menu (ribs, brisket, mutton (yes, mutton), and sausage). I can only attest to the beef sandwich which is delish!

OMG...Their tacos are delicious...breakfast tacos, lunch tacos, dinner tacos...just order tacos and you're good to go!

Great place to go for a morning with friends. The atmosphere is a bit more cafe than coffee shop. The morning tacos are some of the best in Austin, and they have a lot of great outdoor seating.

Although they don't call themselves a sports bar, they're pretty much a sports bar with lots of TVs (indoor and out). Haymaker is known for its poutine and great beer selection on tap.

It's all about the mac and cheese, which comes with delicious bacon crumbled over the top. They have great burgers and a not too shabby beer selection to boot.
